Zamfara First Lady Provides Medical Support to Patients

The First Lady of Zamfara State, Her Excellency, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has extended medical and financial support to patients receiving treatment at the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau, as part of her end-of-year humanitarian outreach.

In a statement issued by her Press Secretary, Rabi Yusuf, the gesture was aimed at easing the financial burden of patients undergoing medical care at the facility.

During the visit, admitted patients were each provided with the sum of ₦150,000 to assist in settling their medical bills and addressing other pressing financial challenges associated with their treatment.

The First Lady emphasized the importance of compassion, empathy, and care for the sick, noting that supporting vulnerable members of society remains a key pillar of her humanitarian initiatives. 

She added that the intervention aligns with the Zamfara State Government’s broader commitment to improving the welfare and wellbeing of its citizens.

She also offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the patients and reassured them of the government’s continuous concern and support for their health and wellbeing.

The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to Her Excellency for the timely intervention, describing the gesture as thoughtful, compassionate, and impactful.
