Foundation Declares Support for AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Gusau Ahead of 2027 Governorship Race in Zamfara.

A political support group under the umbrella of the M.Y.G. Foundation has declared its full support for AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Gusau, described him as the most credible and qualified candidate to lead Zamfara State in the forthcoming 2027 governorship election.

The group made the declaration in a statement signed by its Chairman in Zurmi Local Government Area, Shamsu Sakatare Zurmi, and made available to newsmen in Gusau.

Sakatare said the people of Zamfara are yearning for a leader with integrity, vision, and compassion, adding that AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Gusau represents those ideals.

According to him, politics is a game of numbers, and when those numbers align with truth, credibility, and service, a true representative of the people emerges.

He described AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Gusau as “a symbol of hope, humility, and humanitarian service,” noting that his track record is not built on empty promises but on visible and verifiable impacts in the lives of ordinary citizens.

“As we look ahead to 2027, we are not asking for too much — we are simply asking for the right man for the job. A man with vision, capacity, compassion, and character. That man is AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Gusau,” the statement added.

The group further said that the retired Assistant Inspector General of Police has all it takes to lead Zamfara State into a brighter and more prosperous future, citing his commitment to peace, inclusion, and sustainable development.

Sakatare maintained that the movement supporting AIG Gusau is not just a political campaign but a call for justice, progress, and good governance in Zamfara State.

He expressed optimism that with the support of the people and divine guidance, AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Gusau will emerge victorious in the 2027 polls.

“The future begins now. This time, we are going for an indigene with a clear vision. Insha Allah, we shall see brightness and transformation in our dear state,” the statement concluded.
