Zamfara State Govt to partner with the Federal Medical Center Gusau to enhance healthcare delivery

Zamfara State Ministry of health is to partner with the Federal Medical Center Gusau on key areas, including expanding access to quality healthcare, strengthening the medical workforce, and improving access to essential medical equipment.

The Information Officer of the Ministry, Sulaiman Isah made this known in a statement says the Health Commissioner Dr Nafisa Maradun announced this when she visited the Director Medical Centre Gusau in his office.

According to the statement, the visit underscored the state government's commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery. 

Dr Maradun reaffirmed the state government commitment to explore more ways to improve healthcare access for residents

In a remark, the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Center Gusau, Bello A. Mohammed, welcomed the partnership, emphasizing the importance of a unified approach to address the unique healthcare needs of the Zamfara State population.

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has strongly condemned attack and embarrassment meted against one of its chieftains, Alhaji Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi when he attended wedding fatiha at Rabi'a Jum'at Mosque, Gusau on Friday.

In a statement by the APC Publicity Secretary in Zamfara State, Yusuf Idris Gusau, says the party has noticed with shock how the horrific incident happened as youths were joined by some irate youth to display such bad manner.

According to the statement, 

the party had reassure all it members that, it will always do whatever is necessary to protect them.

It says under the current reconciliation initiative, the party stresses against such deviance even against opposition political party members.

The APC urged youths to henceforth refrain from such acts and to present their grudges against any member through the right channel.

The statement maintains that, the party will take all the necessary steps to ensure perpetrators of such high level of indiscipline are arrested and prosecuted according to the law. 

APC will ensure justice is done to every member and to enjoy the privileges as provided by the nation's constitution. 

"This is uncommon of our otherwise well behaved party youngsters who may have had some grievances against any member and forgot that the APC has well coordinated channels of addressing all forms of grievances which should have been taken by the APC youth"
