Zamfara First Lady visits Mother of Quadruplets in Bungudu, Reaffirms Support for Vulnerable families.

The Zamfara State First Lady, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has restated her commitment to improving the welfare of vulnerable families during a visit to the mother of newly delivered quadruplets in Bungudu Local Government Area.

A statement by the Press Secretary to the First Lady, Rabi Yusuf, indicates that the visit follows an earlier stop at the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, where the First Lady met the mother shortly after the safe delivery of the babies. 

The statement notes that, the gesture reflects her sustained interest in maternal health and child welfare across the state.

During the visit, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal presented the family with assorted relief materials, including food items, cartons of milk, baby bath sets, newborn clothing, mother’s clothing, and other essential supplies.

Father of the quadruplets, Malam Lawali Sanusi, expressed appreciation for the intervention, described the support as timely and compassionate.

The Office of the First Lady says it will continue to initiate programmes aimed at improving the wellbeing of women, children, and other vulnerable groups in Zamfara State.
