Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has approved the appointment of twenty-five people as Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Head of Agencies, Boards and Parastatals of governments.
In a statement by the Secretary to the state government Malam Abubakar Nakwada and issued to newsmen by his
Senior Special Assistant on Media Suleman Ahmad Tudu says the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement explains that, the appointments were part of government determination to enhance the operations of the government for effective service delivery to the people.
According to the statement, Governor Lawal anticipated the appointees to bring their wealth of experience and work with integrity to reposition their various places of primary assignments in line with the rescue agenda of the administration.
The appointments are as follows:
1. Nura Suraj - Special Adviser to the Governor, Human Capital Development
2. Aliyu Adamu Baro - Special Adviser to the Governor, Sustainable Development Goals
3. Iliyasu B. Maijega - Special Adviser to the Governor, Political Matters
4. Shehu Ahmed - Special Adviser to the Governor, Legislative Matters
5. Mahdi Bala - Senior Special Assistant, Youth Mobilization
6. Lawwali Abdulrazak Kaya - Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters
7. Abdulsamiu Kwatarkwashi - Senior Special Assistant, Job Creation
8. Sama'ila F. Ahmad - Senior Special Assistant, Community Relations
9. Babangida Alto - Senior Special Assistant, Human Capital
10. Ibrahim Abdullahi Dankadu - Senior Special Assistant, Sustainable Development Goals
